EQAR is the official register of quality assurance agencies that operate in substantial compliance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). Its role is to provide transparent and reliable information to the public about quality assurance agencies active in Europe.
Registration on EQAR is renewed every five years through a rigorous international external assessment. MusiQuE was first listed in 2015, gaining the same formal status as most national quality assurance and accreditation agencies. A full list of all agencies currently listed on EQAR can be found here.
The renewal decision by the EQAR Register Committee is based on a detailed analysis of MusiQuE’s compliance with the ESG. Out of the 14 standards, MusiQuE was found to be in full compliance with 11 standards and in partial compliance with 3. This outcome reflects the Register Committee’s confidence in MusiQuE’s work, relevance, and future development.
This renewed registration strengthens MusiQuE’s position as a trusted partner for higher music education institutions across Europe and beyond. It provides assurance to students, teachers and institutions that MusiQuE’s work adheres to the highest quality standards, with a continuous commitment to improvement.
