The seminar organised by the European Consortium for Accreditation (ECA) and by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) on 1st February 2018, focused on experiences of HEIs and QA agencies in dealing with programme quality within institutional reviews.

The “critical friend’ approach, which is introducing regular 3-day-visits by an international expert focusing on a specific department or programme, was presented jointly by the Director of MusiQuE and by the Head of Quality Culture of the Royal Conservatoire the Hague in order to present the perspectives and experiences of both the agency and the institution experimenting the approach.
