Last Thursday, 37 participants from 21 countries participated in the first session of the MusiQuE Peer Reviewers Training Workshop 2023. The first day of the training started with a plenary session, during which MusiQuE’s concept of quality in relation to the music education was presented and participants were introduced to the MusiQuE Standards. Participants could learn more about working with the MusiQuE Standards from MusiQuE and institutional representatives as well as experienced Peer Reviewers, who shared their experiences from different perspectives.

During the second part of the online session, the roles and responsibilities of a Peer Reviewer were explained and participants could raise all their questions during a discussion in small groups.

Additionally, participants were encouraged to reflect on how MusiQuE Standards could serve as a tool for quality enhancement in their institution. Their responses can be found below:
