Join colleagues from across the higher music education sector for the MusiQuE Peer Reviewers Training Workshop 2026, an interactive learning experience combining an online session with two inspiring days of in-person exchange in Hamburg.
The Training offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of quality enhancement and accreditation in higher music education institutions, develop practical peer-review skills, and connect with professionals from different institutions and countries. It is designed both for individuals interested in joining the MusiQuE Peer Reviewers Register and for experienced Peer Reviewers wishing to reflect on and further strengthen their practice.
This year the training will take place on:
- Tuesday 13 October (14:00-17:00 CEST), online session via Zoom;
- Wednesday 4 November (13:30-18:00), in person at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany – followed by a joint dinner;
- Thursday 5 November (09:30-13:30), in person at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany.
The Training sessions will be delivered in English by members of the MusiQuE Board and Office and by experienced MusiQuE Peer Reviewers.
Training materials are provided to participants before and during the training to prepare themselves for the practical activities, including role-play sessions.
Participants can include staff members from HMEIs such as senior management, professors, teachers, lecturers, administrative staff, students, and all those interested in the topic. The Training is also open to other performing arts sectors with conservatoires.
