MusiQuE is pleased to announce that the registration for the next training session for Peer-reviewers is now open. The session will take place in Glasgow on 12 November 2015.

The MusiQuE Peer-reviewers Register

MusiQuE works with a pool of competent review and accreditation experts in the field of higher music education, listed in the MusiQuE peer-reviewers register. These experts form the Review Teams that carry out the reviews commissioned by the Board.

Interested individuals who meet the requirements and who are willing to act as a reviewer in MusiQuE review procedures, are highly encouraged to register for the upcoming training session.

The aim of the session

The training session aims at offering elements of training and professional development to potential and confirmed MusiQuE peer-reviewers, i.e. all staff members of higher music education institutions – experienced or not – interested in becoming peer-reviewers for MusiQuE.

Information is provided about MusiQuE Quality Enhancement procedures and participants are encouraged to share experiences via role-playing exercises. Following a plenary session explaining the review process in detail, two sessions are offered successively to small groups of participants: ‘Acting as Peer-Reviewer (Role-Play)’ and ‘Working as part of a team’.

Practical details

The next session will take place on Thursday, November 12th, 2015, 9:00 to 15:00 at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, just before the start of the Annual Congress of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEC).
