Gordon Munro appointed as AEC mandated Board member

Each year the composition of the MusiQuE Board is renewed. AEC mandated member Chris Caine (Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance) left the Board in November 2015. Christopher’s contributions to the Board and to the former AEC Quality Enhancement Committee have been crucial to the development of MusiQuE in its first year of operation as an independent evaluation agency. The MusiQuE Board and Staff would like to thank Chris for his commitment.

Gordon Munro (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) has been appointed as the new Board member based on the proposal made by the AEC Council. With almost 20 years of experience in quality enhancement and Higher Music Education, Gordon’s profile will be an excellent addition to the Board’s current composition.

There will again be opportunity for individuals from AEC member institutions to submit an application to become MusiQuE Board member later this year. Interested experts can verify the requirements to be eligible here. An invitation will be send to all AEC member institutions in June.
